Porsche 996 narrow body halo style LED retrofitted OEM taillights

This is our retrofitted set of 996 narrow body taillights featuring halo LED inserts as shown in the pictures and video.
We start with a set of used or new OEM taillights, open them up, insert the halo LED strips and wire everything up.
These lights are completely plug-and play, the only thing you have to do is run a 12V wire from a source in the engine compartment to both taillights. We include the wiring and all the connectors to accomplish this, as well as a detailed instructional video. Literally takes 10 minutes.
Taillights are re-sealed with a quality sealant. Includes our 12-month warranty on parts and labor.

Lead time: Depending on other orders we already have in the queue, it will take between 8 and 12 weeks to build a set of these taillights. If the 996 taillights (either new or used) are in short supply, this may further extend the lead times. We will keep you informed on the status of your order throughout the entire build process.

Options are:

996.1 or 996.2 style (amber of clear blinker lenses)
Used or brand new taillights, or you can send in yours *
Solid or sequential blinker strip

We also offer a DIY retrofit kit in case you want to do the modification yourself!

* When sending in your own OEM taillights, they must be fee of any cracks or other lens damage, with all mounting tabs intact.

Taillights provided by us will NOT include a harness. You will be re-using your own existing taillight harnesses.

Disclaimers: Since we use a used set of OEM taillights to build these lights, the lenses may have minor scratches. We do polish the lenses to make them look as close to new as possible. Other than that, the lenses are free of any cracks or other damage. Please note that our warranty does not cover any (stress) cracks that appear in the lenses after you receive them. Most of these are ~20 years old and it is a known issue that some of them develop stress cracks at the top of the lens.
Traffic laws vary widely between states and even municipalities. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that our taillights are street legal in all jurisdictions. Please check your local laws before purchasing our taillights.
