Porsche 996.2 internal headlight harness repair

This is an internal headlight harness repair service for any style 996.2 headlights.

We don't offer complete harness replacements for sale due to the fact that most of the specialty connectors are no longer available.
Since many of us 996.2 owners struggle with deteriorating wiring insulation of these harnesses (see pictures), we now offer this harness repair service.

What is included?
After you ship us your headlights, we remove the lenses and all the contents. We then remove the internal harness and refurbish it by replacing all the wiring with brand new automotive grade wires in the appropriate gauge, re-using all OEM connectors. We then remove all remnants of the old Permaseal sealant from both the housings and the lenses. Next, we re-install the repaired harness, re-install all internal components and reseal the headlights using a butyl rubber sealant. We test the headlights for proper operation before preparing them for return shipment. Return shipping is also included inside the lower 48 United States.
PLEASE NOTE that return shipment is at the buyer's risk; we do not accept liability for any damage sustained in shipping!

What is NOT included?
Repair of any defects or malfunctions in the internal components of the headlights. If we detect any issues with the internal headlight components in our pre-repair test, we will notify you to discuss options.

What can be included?
While the headlights are here and opened up, we offer installation of Retrofitlab projector upgrade kits (bi-LED or bi-Xenon), as well as replacement of the headlight lenses with brand new ones (available soon). Please contact us for more details and pricing.
