Porsche 996.1/986 internal headlight harness (pair) - Litronic only

This is a pair of replacement harnesses internal to the LITRONIC headlights of the Porsche 996.1 or 986. (Will not fit HALOGEN headlights)
The wiring in the OEM harnesses suffers from peeling insulation due to the soy-based material used in these cars a their time of manufacture.
Sooner or later this will cause electrical gremlins (or worse). Price includes shipping in the continental US.

Note 1: In order to completely replace the harness, the headlight lens will have to be removed.
Note 2: Two wires on the harness are soldered into two posts in the front of the headlight housing. These will need to be re-soldered or otherwise spliced together.
Note 3: We incorporate used items for the HID part of the harness as they cannot be sourced new. Typically, one or both of the "clips" on the plug that connects to the HID ballast (through the headlight's back door) will be missing as they snap off easily. This does not affect the functionality or fit of the connector at all. The connector is a very tight fit even without these clips. (see picture of supplied clips below)
Note 4: We offer a $40 core refund if you send us your old harnesses with all connectors intact (wiring condition is not important). Some of the HID connectors can be hard to source so we can re-use these in future harnesses.

We very strongly recommend that you include these tools in your order. Without these specific tools it is very hard to remove the lens without damaging it. We include a how-to video with your order showing step-by-step how to use them!
